After taking enough time to mourn, I have decided to begin a memorial portrait of my own cat, Maya, who passed away earlier this year. I found a pose of her that I really liked. Something about that upward stare, looking at a fly or whatever, reminds me of when she was a kitten…always so curious and adventurous. I sure did love her during her brief life....

I’ve started a new portrait, this time of “Jake”, my cousin’s beloved companion who passed away earlier this year. I love his happy expression, one of the best I’ve seen! I started on Mick and Maggie today. My first 2-in-1 portrait, I’ll let you know how it goes!   And two weeks later, here is the final portrait of Mick and Maggie. It was completed and delivered in time for a Mother’s Day gift!...
