If you’ve been following The Pet Sketcher and wondering what happened to my posts (and even if you’re a newcomer), I just want to tell you that I’m still here but haven’t been sketching as much over the past 12 months or so. I started a new business creating custom maps which has taken up all of my time. Like The Pet Sketcher, it’s a true labor of love! But as a consequence I have not been promoting my custom pet portraits like I used to — I haven’t been posting updates on my social media outlets, nor have I been drawing live at pet expos. With the state of the world right now, I can’t predict if I will return to those good ole’ days. But, I am willing to consider new commissions if you contact me with your request. Stay well.
Art from the Heart

It is a great joy to be a professional pet portrait artist, where I can combine my love of animals and art. It is also nice to know that my art makes people happy, and in some cases helps them recover after the loss of their pet. Every drawing I do is a labor of love, and every portrait is as unique as the animal it portrays. It would be a pleasure to work with you on your own one-of-a-kind pet portrait! Contact me here.
