Here is my latest progress on Tyler. The use of color pencil on toned tan paper gives an interesting effect, much more 3D than could be achieved on white paper. This is my first attempt with this technique and I like it so far.

It is a great joy to be a professional pet portrait artist, where I can combine my love of animals and art.
