My next portrait is Maggie the German shepherd. Maggie was adopted in March 2011 (there were 30 people on the wait list to adopt her!). She passed away suddenly this past April of hemangiosarcoma. She was quite a handful at first but turned into “one of the best behaved, loving and happy dogs around.” She had a wonderful life on a Vermont farm and is missed dearly every day.
